Anker Folio Bluetooth Keyboard Case for iPad Air

Anker Folio Bluetooth Keyboard Case for iPad Air

9901 Bluetooth speaker

Product Description

Everything you love about your iPad, amplified.

Protection with a flair.

Sporting a sleek synthetic leather exterior, this folio cover looks just like a notebook. Sturdy snap-in brackets and robust fiberglass panels guard your iPad against drops and bumps, while a soft inner lining protects the screen from scratches. So you can be sure of maximum protection without compromising style.

Intelligently intuitive.

By snapping your device to the embedded magnetic strip, the keyboard connects automatically, while the cover provides an upright angle ideal for typing and media playback. For handheld use, the iPad lies flat and securely across the keys. And to trigger your device's sleep or wake mode, simply open or close the cover. Fewer buttons - more automation.

The strong, silent type.

Trade in tapping for typing, and take a break from typos. Low-profile molded keycaps are whisper quiet, while iPad-dedicated hotkeys and an almost full-size layout complete the ideal typing experience. Enjoy a comfortable and efficient keyboard without having to sacrifice portability.

Six-month stamina.

At Anker, quality products just make sense. So we built in a super-sized battery that keeps you going for six months or more between charges, freeing you to worry less and work (or play) more. And after being idle for 10 minutes, the keyboard automatically enters sleep mode. Zzzzzzzz.

  • ... retail stores and online for a keyboard case I liked. Read MANY reviews
  • I am new to the whole IPad thing (IPad Air) & had been looking in retail stores and online for a keyboard case I liked. Read MANY reviews, quite a few for items 3X the price. I finally decided on the Anker TC980 and, while I'm still getting used to it (the typical smaller keyboard tablets have), I have been really impressed with the quality. It feels solid & well constructed; despite the very reasonable price it in no way feels "cheap". Like that it is a folio & gives protection to the front & back of the IPad. Tried setting it up the evening I received it but had minor problems; turns out it was, ahem, probably due to the martini I'd consumed. Next morning--clear eyed--it came together easily. I am VERY impressed by the quality construction AND price. One suggestion for the current iteration: Print the instructions in a bit larger type; had to squint to read the tiny print. What can I say, I'm old and my eyes aren't what they used to be. To make this a 5-star: 1) Have more than one angle for the screen, and 2) backlit keys for night time use. For 5+ stars, allow the IPad to work w/ keyboard in portrait mode, though I imagine that would be a much more complicated design. I've only been using this for a couple of days & will update my review if I have anything useful to add. So far really impressed at the quality and value. Highly recommend.

  • Very nice, well worth the price
  • I'm actually typing this from my iPad keyboard right now! I'm impressed. For only $35, it's a bargain. The keyboard feels great, the casing is good, and everything functions perfectly. Couldn't really as for much more. The only downside I see is the unadjustable viewing angle, but for saving $40 over other keyboards, I'll look over that.

Can anyone tell me how to find the £ (GBP) sign on this keyboard.

If you have the UK version then the £ sign will be coupled with the number '3' key. If you have the American version then it isn't on there.

These would be much handier if iPad Air could charge off the keyboard's battery and the keyboard had a built in card reader or hard drive. It would solve the storage problem.

I think this is a good idea but Apple always make things difficult and expensive,

We'd love to be able to get as many features as possible in with our keyboards but it's not always as simple as bolting them on!

Many device's have built in software and hardware which stop this being such an easy task, but rest assured we're committed to pushing accessories as far as they can go.

Screen Protector
Will the slots that the ipad fit into have any issues with a screen protector.  I have recently tried a Zagg Folio Case and it has caused issue with my screen protector.

By looking at the photos I really doubt that a screen protector will get in the way of the case. The sides of the case will hug the corners of the iPad but having a screen protector shouldn't get in the way of anything.

Your iPad and screen protector should go with the case with no problems at all.

Remember, if you have any problems at all then you're covered by a 30 day money-back guarantee as well as an 18 month warranty if you have any problems at all.
